This one day workshop will focus on creating the illusion of depth and space in a street or city scene. There will be demonstrations of one and two point perspective as well as how to create the illusion of detail with purposeful paint strokes.
Each artist is asked to bring some reference photos of street scenes that interest them (the studio will have some as backup) preferably with some identifiable structure detail; oil paints, non-odor solvent, brushes, palette. The Studio will supply a 20×24 canvas for each artist, as well as additional paints and mediums to sample.
