These one-day intensive workshops focus on the decision processes of composition, color and content in painting.
November 12, 2025 10am-2pm Purposeful Painting, Oils
This oil painting workshop focuses on decisive and meaningful brush work, along with thoughtful color and composition. There will be a warm up exercise on a small prepared surface (provided) followed by individual still life set ups for each artist. The instructor will be showing reference material both of traditional and contemporary masters during the class.
Artists will need to bring: oil paint, non-odor solvent, brushes, a surface (panel or canvas), and enthusiasm. The instructor will provide some paints and mediums as needed for the artists to experiment with.
Please bring a lunch, or visit nearby businesses to grab a quick bite.
