Painting the Landscape with Structure
Wednesday, March 11th 10am-2pm

This workshop will focus on how a structure (or structures) can add depth and interest to landscape painting. Emphasis will be on color, contrast, light and distance. The artists will work from photos of their choice, along with sketches if available.
We will review master and contemporary work in this genre both as guide and inspiration.
While tools and paints will be available to sample at the studio, each artist is asked to bring: paint, brushes, solvent, rags, a surface and enthusiasm.
This workshop is geared towards oil painting, but acrylic painters are also encouraged to participate.
