The study of Master works has always been a great learning tool for artists. This workshop takes on Cezanne- not copying a piece, but painting a Cezanne-like setup using some stylistic techniques unique to the artist. We will discuss and go over some of Cezanne’s work at the opening of the workshop. Following will be a four-hour intensive study based on color combinations, contrast and composition.
The Studio will provide the (large scale) surfaces for the paintings, along with some underpainting paints and fine oils for sampling. Each artist is asked to bring : oil paints, NON-odor solvent, medium of choice (also available to sample from the Studio), palette and enthusiasm.
Limit 5 artists.
