Fridays January 9th-February 13th
10am-1pm
This course will welcome both the novice and seasoned artist alike. Several approaches to starting and progressing a painting will be pursued, including but not limited to: wipe-out, limited palette, ala prima, quick-fire challenges and more. There will be examples and discussion of master works, both classical and contemporary. Each session will end with a review of the group’s work.
Each artist should bring: Oil paints, NON-odor solvent, surface, brushes and enthusiasm. The instructor will provide additional paints and materials to sample and explore.
